CALLING ALL BOXER SHORTS
Get Behind Boxer Bingo! Make a colorful donation

We're not trying to be tasteless here and we don't want you to get your panties in a bunch, but we need under trousers!

Yes, one of the most fun and enduring games our seniors play at their Grad Party the past few years has been BOXER BINGO. What a hit with both guys and gals. The bingo game is unchanged from any church hall version, but the prizes are boxer shorts, and we need more.

Last year, the class of 2009 went through more than 300 pair. The girls love 'em and wear them over their jeans, and the guys, well, you know what the guys do with them.

We don't want stuffy, white ones either. We'd love it if you could pick up novelty or fun boxers. Cartoon characters, superheros, hearts, flowers, (nothing improper or suggestive though), etc. We need all sizes and colors, and the more the better.

We almost ran out last year. So if each parent could pick up a pair and bring them to the Senior Parent Breakfast, we'd be sitting pretty. Thanks!

FLOWER FUNDRAISER
Support your seniors; buy geraniums

Can't fathom buying boxer shorts for girls, how about buying a beautiful hanging basket of mixed annuals instead?

The Grad Party Committee has for years sold geraniums in 4-inch and 10-inch pots and this year is no excpetion. But the best sellers year in and year out are the mixed annuals in a 12-inch bowls and 12-inch mixed premium baskets.

Just about everyone who drives up to pick up a basket or bowl for the first time exclaims "gee, I wish, I ordered two." Well, Grad Party has you covered. We're ordering extras of the popular flowers and if you don't order them ahead of time (the preferred method), we'll have them at the Senior Parent Breakfast for purchase. This is a great way to support the seniors, and also brighten your patio or walkway with the colors of spring.

Flower order forms are available in the front office at the high school or download the order form here.

IMPORTANT MEETING
Senior Parent Breakfast is Saturday, April 10

By the time you read this, the 2010 Grad Party will only be about 11 weeks away! We've been working tirelessly to ensure that our seniors have a safe and fun event on one of the most important evenings in their young lives. And we need your help.

Coming up in April is the Senior Parent Breakfast. This free event for senior parents is important because you'll hear frorm principal Ed John and other administration officials about what to expect on Graduation Day and the week leading up to it.

For parents who've already had a senior graduate, this might be old hat. But for many of you, this is your first child to graduate high school and you have questions. Well, Senior Parent Breakfast has answers.

We will start with a complimentary continental breakfast, and then Mr. John will tell you what to expect during Grad Week, how you get tickets for grad night, how many you get, where your seniors are expected to be, where to park and what students need to bring with them.

Grad Party 2010, the breakfast sponsor, also will give senior parents a chance to bid on the best seats in the Pavillion at the Oregon State Fairgrounds (where graduation ceremonies take place). These seats are limited, and the first four were auctioned off at the Titan Auction in November. They come with preferred parking spaces as well. So bring your checkbook! All money raised will be used for the Grad Party.

Senior parents also will have an opportunity to buy tickets to the Grad Party ($20), and sign up to volunteer for one of the grad party shifts or the entire evening. Please be generous with your time and your cash; this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our children.

The Senior Parent Breakfast will be held from 9 a.m. to about 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 10 in the school Commons (eating area).
